Camera shopping and don’t know which one to get? You are not alone as many people often wonder what the best brand of camera is. Best Buy, Walmart, and Target have an electronics isle with hundreds of cameras to choose from, but don’t let price determine your decision as there are many other factors to a good digital camera.
Because of the digital camera boom that happened in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, there have been a plethora of camera brands that have marketed new cameras. Alot of these new companies boast low priced cameras with some neat little features, but don’t get lured by the price.
Although there has been a big digital camera boom, there is still something to be said of the brands that have been around for a while. Even though there are tons of brands, many of them are made with cheap materials to lower the cost. This in turn will lower the quality of lenses and other camera materials.
Many wonder why these brands are considered to be the best. The first thing we would tell you to do is to pick up a Kodak SLR camera and then to pick up a Canon SLR. The first thing you will notice is the weight and that the canon does not have the “cheap” feel to it as it is made of quality materials. You will also notice that the lenses are much bigger on a Canon or Nikon and can be interchanged with other lenses of the photographers choice.
These two brands of cameras are made of much higher quality materials to enhance color and shadow capture which will give you much higher resolution pictures. The computer and flash memory are also much much faster on one of these two brands of cameras which will allow you to never miss those special moments.
You will definitely pay more for a Canon or a Nikon, but you won’t be sorry. You really get what you pay for in the camera world.
